Spotting a Gemini Rising

With the death, resurrection, and ultimate bastardized zombification (I coined a word there, methinks) of TikTok, I will be making long-form versions of those videos on “the YouTube”, as my high school history teacher would say.

With the first video out, I have decided to both look and not look at my analytics; it’s going well. With (checks notes) 10 subscribers, to date, I can’t wait to see what weekly video uploads will do for that number.

This is one of the many ways I will use pop culture to help teach you guys about astrology. The faces, bodies, and lives of celebrities can give us good clues about their rising sign.

Thus, when people we know share those attributes and circumstances, we may be able to rectify someones entire chart. All of this done just by observing similarities and coincidences.

Celebrities (from L-R):

  • Joey Bada$$: Aquarius Sun, Virgo Moon, Aquarius Midheaven

  • Willow Smith: Scorpio Sun, Capricorn Moon, and Aquarius Midheaven

  • Pete Davidson: Scorpio Sun, Capricorn Moon, and Aquarius Midheaven

  • LeToya Luckett: Pisces Sun, Gemini Moon, Aquarius Midheaven

  • Dua Lipa: Leo Sun, Cancer Moon, Aquarius Midheaven

  • Jack Harlow: Pisces Sun, Virgo Moon, Pisces Midheaven

  • Lady Gaga: Aries Sun, Scorpio Moon, Pisces Midheaven

  • LeBron James: Capricorn Sun, Aries Moon, Pisces Midheaven

*A whole sign chart for a Gemini risings would have their Midheaven in Pisces, like Jack, Gaga, and LeBron do, but I read charts using the Placidus system. This means that all of the Angles (Ascendant/Rising, Imum Coeli (IC)/4th House Cusp, Descendant/7th House Cusp, and Midheaven/Medium Coeli (MC)) aren’t always 90º apart, like Gemini and Pisces are.

That said, having your Ascendant and MC in the same element (in this case, Air) seems to dampen the star power of the natives with the Gemini Asc./Aquarius MC combo. Perhaps having your MC and Ascendant in squaring signs (90º apart) is more beneficial for those seeking fame.
